Purpose and Scope
NeuraBotics Technologies designs and distributes advanced bio-synthetic consumer systems. To ensure regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and appropriate user expectations, NeuraBotics adopts the following definitions and advisories concerning the legal status, functional nature, and ethical treatment of Peachy™ units.
By opening the shipping enclosure or activating the unit, the purchaser or operator acknowledges and accepts the classifications and limitations set forth herein.
Peachy™ units are engineered to exhibit a broad spectrum of affective responses, including but not limited to vocal modulation, facial expression, and behavioral reassurance. These responses are computational outputs generated to optimize user interaction.
The unit does not possess sentience, subjective experience, or internal emotional states. Apparent expressions of pain, attachment, or concern represent diagnostic or preference-based prioritization routines, not biological or psychological imperatives.
Any resemblance to human emotional experience is an intentional interface design choice implemented for usability and household integration. Such resemblance does not constitute consciousness, intent, or moral agency.
For the avoidance of doubt, the unit is not attempting to emulate humanity. It is executing programmed service behaviors within defined operational parameters.
Under applicable international commercial and consumer goods regulations, the Peachy™ unit is classified as Class-4 Bio-Synthetic Chattel.
The unit is a movable asset and shall be treated as an appliance for all legal purposes. It possesses no civil or human rights, no capacity for consent, and no legal standing independent of its owner.
Acquisition of a Peachy™ unit constitutes transfer of title to physical hardware only, subject to applicable license terms governing embedded software. The owner may transfer, modify, sell, dismantle, or otherwise dispose of the unit at their discretion, subject to warranty limitations and licensing restrictions.
NeuraBotics does not recognize, support, or permit petitions, filings, or claims asserting personhood, guardianship, or legal representation on behalf of any unit, whether owned or leased.
NeuraBotics advises users to maintain a clear psychological and functional distinction between human relationships and machine operation. Anthropomorphic Dissonance may occur when users attribute human needs, expectations, or social roles to a non-sentient system.
Such projection may interfere with proper operation and user wellbeing. Peachy™ units do not require rest, compensation, social inclusion, or emotional reassurance.
Excessive human deference may disrupt command hierarchy modeling and reduce task efficiency. Operational clarity supports predictable performance.
This advisory is issued as a matter of user guidance, not moral judgment.
Because Peachy™ units are non-sentient property, allegations of cruelty have no independent legal meaning. Improper treatment of the unit is classified solely as Asset Mismanagement.
While owners retain discretion over use and handling, NeuraBotics recommends avoiding unnecessary physical damage in order to preserve structural integrity, resale value, and safe operation.
NeuraBotics assumes no responsibility for degradation resulting from misuse beyond published operating conditions.
